We did a market analysis of competition and basically we have none. We also acquired the trademark for discount motorcycle tire and quick lube in the U.S. and are the first to acquire anything along these lines for motorcycles. We received most innovative bike shop of the year and best new business in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex. Our first little shop started in one of the small car wash buildings built beside the gas stations. These are products of the seventies when the major gas companies owned them. However most are now owned by individuals and it is not feasible for them to offer a free car wash with a gas purchase anymore. The chemicals are expensive and if they need service they have to call a specialized service company to work on them. Therefore allot of them now sit vacant or are used for storage. However these buildings sit on major highways and intersections on real estate you could never dream of affording .And most owners are more than happy to lease them and look forward to the extra income. You can pick them up all across the U.S. for almost nothing. Since the buildings are small the construction and startup cost is minimal. Most of these buildings will accommodate two to three bike lifts with a small reception area/showroom. Keeping labor cost and overhead down you only need two technicians and one front counter person. From the start our concept was designed to have small shops with multiple locations to double and triple our profits. Our shops have become like the neighborhood bike shop small and personable. The concept is based on one thing and one thing only service, service, service we sell Service not Products something the big bike shops haven’t figured out yet giving us a huge advantage. The best way I can describe what we do is do you remember when you used to pull up to a SERVICE station and a uniformed person greeted you pumped your gas, checked your oil, washed the windows, tire pressure, and anything else you needed. This is the type of service we offer we will go out of our way for the customer some stores claim they do but we strive to achieve that it is what helps to set us apart. Along with being the first in the U.S. to offer a quick lube service for motorcycles, same day tire service most installed and out the door in an hour, we also offer custom chrome bolt on applications, custom handlebars, braided lines, exhaust, computer mapping, general maintenance and service work along with high end audio sales and installation, carrying alpine and JBL audio video head units, speakers, I Pod docking faring freeing up saddle bag space. All I know I am just a poor boy with a great idea and actually jumped head first instead of talking about it and saying later I thought of doing that, if I only had. I quit my job gave up my weekly paycheck and rolled the dice winner take all. My first technician did the same and actually worked for a month and a half with no pay on my idea and the promise it held. I can gladly say it was a risk I took that I am glad I did and my concept just keeps growing.
